Developing Gross Motor Skills

In Pre-Primary classes teachers focus on developing the Gross motor skills of young learners through various activities and exercises. Children are encouraged to enhance their physical coordination, balance and body control.

Enhancing Fine Motor Skills

Teachers also work on developing their Fine Motor Skills such as drawing, colouring and manipulating small objects to improve their hand-eye coordination, finger dexterity and precision.

Activity Based Learning

We follow an activity-based learning approach through hands-on experiences and interactive learning. Children are taught with the help of audio visual aids to make learning easy and fun.

The School adheres to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum and further amalgamates it with interesting and inquisitive learning aids, experimentation and exploration for conceptual clarity.

Rote Learning is discouraged. Stress is given on understanding and application of concepts as the objective is to prepare the students for Senior Level. The learning processes are also customized as per the individual learning needs. The students are provided with extra support during remedial and enrichment classes.

Special emphasis is on Reading, Comprehending and Writing.

At Senior level, we strictly go by the norms set by CBSE.

There is emphasis on exposition, interaction, experimentation, analysis, interpretation, application and reorientation.

An effort is made for Art integration in conduct of lessons. Gaming skills, music and even dance skills are integral in our teaching learning process. We have also made experiential learning as our strategy to conduct classes at this level.

We are conscious about our marginal learners and conduct special classes for them from time to time and ensure that such learners are also helped in the normal classes as well. Students are encouraged to ask questions, and have meaningful discussions in classes as part of curriculum transaction strategy. To strike a balance, we expose our students to their physical, intellectual and emotional wellbeing.

Academic care is also ensured through supervision of lessons, lesson plans and academic forecasts. Parents are encouraged to share the academic and other relevant issues of their wards through student’s diary and PTMs.
